THE EPISCOPAL DIOCESE OF FLORIDANEW SIGN
Dear brothers and sisters,
I know that all of you are aware of the devastation in Texas and Louisiana as a result of recent Hurricane Ike. Please remember to give generously to Episcopal Relief and Development which is active and very much on the scene assisting in relief and rebuilding efforts. I am told that in areas there is damage and destruction on the order of Hurricane Katrina's in Louisiana and the Gulf Coast. Please give generously.
Also: The effect of Ike and of earlier storms during this season has been keenly felt in Cuba. Please remember your companion parishes there and do all that you are able to - to be of assistance to them as they seek to heal and rebuild.
